DAVID HICKMAN  ​- Campus Wide Senator
I am running to continue to serve as your Campus Wide Senator. During my current term I have worked to make A.S. a more accessible, transparent, and accountable body. I will continue to expand ACCESSIBILITY to the representation, resources, and services that A.S. provides. I will continue to increase TRANSPARENCY by making our decisions and processes more public. And I will continue to encourage ACCOUNTABILITY between all A.S. leaders and their constituents to make sure students are able to interact with and see demonstrated value from those they elect. 

KAITLYN WILLOUGHBY - Campus Wide Senator
​Hi y'all! My name is Kaitlyn Willoughby and I am running to be YOUR Campus-Wide Senator. With my current experience, in both the AS External Affairs Office and AS Academic Affairs Office, I have had the opportunity to talk with many students about their issues. Among them, Mental Health and Environmental Sustainability. In my term, I will:
1) Work to reduce the stigma around MENTAL HEALTH and increase access to resources on campus. 
2) Work towards being a ZERO-WASTE campus through education and advocacy.
3) Ensure that students have ACCESS to AS to voice concerns. 

KIMBERLY GIANGTRAN - Campus Wide Senator
​Overflow housing, displacing students off-campus, and large waitlists are all symptoms of an underlying problem: over-enrollment. UCSD has ambitious plans to eventually have ten colleges and 30,000 beds by 2030. While this vision is great, we, the current students of UCSD, are paying the price. With my experience as the current First Year Senator and as a former Board Member of a school district, as your Campus-Wide Senator, I will actively work with the administration to demand that they focus on us, who are currently enrolled here, and not so much on the future. ​​

NICK LEE - Campus Wide Senator
Cheers! I'm Nick Lee and I am running for Campus Wide Senator! With experience as a Muir College Council Representative, AS Marketing Director, EDI Peer Educator, and active member of Greek Life, I would be stoked to represent YOU in building genuine, productive communication between our admin and students. When elected I will strive to work with the students, for the students. I will passionately advocate for increased funding for campus resources regarding basic physical, mental, and social health because you, the students, deserve only the BEST from UCSD.

CY'RAL DAVIS - Off-Campus Senator
​I have worked closely with commuters and other off campus affiliates in the past year, and this year I will continue on a larger scale. I will advertise the many on-campus resources available to all commuters. I will work to increase accommodations for parking because after all, getting to school is our number one priority. I will create incentives for carpooling, which in return will combat the parking situation while helping the environment. Finally, I will host events that foster the sense of family and belonging to all commuters. ​​

ETHAN CHRISTENSEN - Off-Campus Senator
As Off-Campus Senator, I am dedicated to continuing my current work to create effective housing RESOURCES that help students find a home Off Campus. Furthermore, I will be creating more effective MENTAL HEALTH support for Off Campus students to ensure those who cant physically access CAPS can still get the help they need. Finally, I will create more effective TRANSPORTATION options for those Off Campus through new opportunities for commuters. ​​​

YUSUF ALTIMIMI - Transfer Senator
Hi! My name is Yusuf and I'm a first-year transfer looking to bring tangible, beneficial, and impactful change to the UCSD community. As transfer senator, I seek to expand resources that give students the ability to hit the ground running by providing a dedicated transfer resource center. 

Students need a quiet and peaceful space to recalibrate and de-stress. But how can that happen when there isn't adequate space? UCSD needs to better support us transfers, and I will advocate for us to administration for expansions to the contemplation lounge.

HARRY HUANG - Arts and Humanities Senator
Hi, my name is Harry and I am running to be next years Arts and Humanities Senator.
I will make AS FUNDING ACCESSIBLE to Arts and Humanities organizations to support them in their programs and events in ways that are currently underutilized. Orgs should not have to beg for funds outside of AS just because they require permanent items that AS wont fund.
I will PROMOTE Arts and Humanities education on campus by hosting more events for students to explore these departments charms.
Finally, I will fight for more SPACE for students to explore their creativity.

PREETHI VEERAGANDHAM - Biological Sciences Senator
When elected Biological Sciences Senator, I will support biology students in the following ways: 
1. I will better REPRESENT all biology students by creating a better platform for gathering STUDENT INPUT.
2. I will facilitate greater INTERACTION between students and faculty in the biology department, enabling all students to form the CONNECTIONS necessary to succeed. 
3. I will provide students with the RESOURCES necessary to make more informed course, major, and career decisions and connect them with OPPORTUNITIES outside the classroom.

EFRAN MARTINEZ - Engineering Senator
My name is Efran and I'm a first-generation college student studying mechanical engineering in Warren. I'm running for Engineering Senator to provide engineers with the RESOURCES necessary to develop a CAREER. Engineering is a broad field which requires proper GUIDANCE to excel. When elected, I will instill changes necessary to guide students into their future careers. I will do so by providing opportunities to NETWORK with industry professionals in a casual setting as well as creating more opportunities to obtain relevant EXPERIENCE.

SHIRLEY ZHANG - Physical Sciences Senator
When elected as Physical Sciences Senator, I have 3 tangible goals:
1. Listen to STUDENT VOICE by creating a system of efficient FEEDBACK about projects and programs implemented within the Physical Sciences department
2. Connect student, faculty and alumni resources on campus to assist in PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT 
3. Promote INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDY and ACADEMIC INCLUSIVITY across all majors through cross-subject career events

ANNIKA MANLUTAC - Social Sciences Senator
As your current Social Sciences Senator, I am re-committed to meeting the needs of students in the following ways:
1. I will have STUDENT VOICES HEARD by continuing to develop the Students of the Social Sciences, and will establish a sense of COMMUNITY within the division
2. I will establish ACCESSIBILITY with administration and faculty to enhance the STUDENT EXPERIENCE
